Clanton finishes ninth in LOLMDS point standings

After persistent rain condensed the event to a one-day show on Saturday, Shane Clanton was one of 60 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) competitors entered at Portsmouth Raceway Park (Portsmouth, Ohio) for the 41st annual General Tire Dirt Track World Championship. Locked into the ninth-starting position for the $100,000-to-win Dirt Track World Championship, Shane was an early retiree from the 100-lapper on the 48th circuit.

He finished in ninth in the final LOLMDS point standings.
