Clanton records Top-10 finish at All-Tech Raceway
After rainy conditions cancelled Friday night's action at All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.), Shane Clanton entered his Skyline Motorsports No. 25 into competition for one day of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series racing.
With 44 Late Models on the premises, Clanton recorded the seventh-quickest lap in his qualifying group before mounting a fourth-to-first charge in his heat race. Starting the 50-lap feature from the pole position, Shane ran inside the Top-5 for much of the feature and led laps 8-16 before fading late to land an eighth-place finish.
