Clanton heads to Ponderosa Speedway for Johnny Mulligan Classic
Shane Clanton followed the World of Outlaws Case Late Model Series to Ponderosa Speedway (Junction City, Ky.) on Friday afternoon for the Johnny Mulligan Classic.
With 32 Late Models on the property, Clanton earned a spot in the feature following a third-place run in his heat race. Clanton was running in the eighth-position in the $15,000-to-win feature until a flat tire caused him to pull in. Clanton recorded an 18th-place finish.
Shane is currently 10th in World of Outlaws points.
