Fifth-place run with World of Outlaws in Billy Clanton Classic at Senoia

Shane Clanton checked into Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Saturday evening as the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series invaded the Georgia oval for the $15,000-to-win Billy Clanton Classic.

Clanton opened up the evening by setting quicktime in his qualifying group before picking up a heat race win over Trey Mills. Shane pulled the No. 4 in the redraw and started on the outside of the second-row in the $15,000-to-win feature. In the 50-lap feature, Clanton finished fifth.
