Tough luck follows Shane Clanton to Magnolia Motor Speedway at Cotton Pickin'
Shane Clanton unloaded his No. 25 machine at Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) among a field of 42 Super Late Models to kick off the two-day Cotton Pickin' with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series on Friday night.
Clocking in eighth-fastest on the time trial boards, Clanton made up two spots in his heat to run second behind Cade Dillard. Shane started eighth in the 60-lap, $20,000-to-win finale on Saturday and ran as high as third before a late mechanical issue relegated him to a 13th-place finish.
