Shane Clanton races in the World Short Track Championship at The Dirt Track at Charlotte

Making the trip up to the Charlotte area, Shane Clanton competed in the World Short Track Championship at The Dirt Track at Charlotte (N.C.) on Saturday and Sunday after rain pushed the event back a few days.

Finishing second in a heat race on Saturday, Clanton started eighth in the 25-lap, $8,000-to-win main event and wound up 17th.
